Best 10 Air purifying indoor plants | Approved by NASA
This video shares the information about the best 10 indoor plants, which will purifies the air inside our home and generates oxygen inside the rooms. These plants are approved by NASA for using inside our houses.
According to the Environmental Protection Agency, you could be living in a sick house and not know it. This is because our homes have three to five times more pollutants than the outdoors. Yes, you read that right.
To figure out exactly why these plants are so beneficial, NASA performed a controlled experiment to see which plants were most effective at removing several common indoor air pollutants, including ammonia and VOCs like formaldehyde, trichloroethylene, benzene, toluene, and xylene.
Harmful substances like xylene (in paint and lacquers), benzene (in furniture wax and insect sprays), formaldehyde (in upholstery and air fresheners) and trichloroethylene (in cleaners and adhesives) can cause headache, allergies like breathing troubles and sore throats.
High levels of these chemicals can result in health problems that collectively make up the phenomenon known as “sick building syndrome.”
Benzene, a known carcinogen, can enter our environment through plastics, synthetic fibers, and resins. Formaldehyde is emitted by paints and varnishes.
We’ve assembled a list of some of the best air-filterers from the NASA study–these plants are surprisingly easy to care for indoors.

Trying to grow real plants
Hello^^ Could you please help explain to me? Is it actually safe to put indoor plants like air purify plants in bedroom where we sleep? Coz I read articles and it wrote plants will produce CO2 at night which is not good for us.. So I confuse should I put plants in my bedroom or not..
👍🏻
Thank you but can you also explain whether those recommended plants also produced CO2 at night?
Zz plant, jade plant is not a air purifier plants?
Absolute load of rubbish. You would need 100s of plants in one room for even a small effect. I love plants, have a great interest in them and keep tropical plants but buy them because you like them and have an interest in them because filtering the air in your home is a very successful marketing ploy.
Informative video 👌 thanks 🙏🙏
