  1. 0:42 we lined our acre lot with Leland cypresses and 8 years later they’re all dying. Have been for a few years now. Some were planted 12 hrs ago and are like 20 ft tall and totally dead. Some have fallen down and some we’ve pulled out and burned, but it’s an eyesore. They’re so prone to disease and pests.

    We started planting upright arborvitae (so bad how it’s pronounced here) and they seem to do much better.

  2. The Cotoneaster looks very attractive. I would like to plant a row down a powerline. This might be what I’m looking for. Are the birds in favor of the berries?

  3. If you’re in the coastal Pacific Northwest, you already know salal, rhododendrons, and Oregon berry, let alone the wild invading blackberries. If you’re on the rainshadow side, you know tumbleweeds X’D.
